2 The main performance

The ribbon anode is flat in shape, adjustable in length, easy to bend, and has good anti-corrosion performance. It does not require an external DC power supply. It runs automatically after installation, does not require maintenance, has a small footprint, low engineering costs, and does not cause any interference with the external environment.

3 The scope of application

Used in high resistivity environment, protection of pipelines in casings, temporary anode protection of pipelines, protection of storage tanks and pipe networks, grounding protection against strong electrical interference, etc.

4 The product features

Magnesium ribbon sacrificial anodes are produced using high-quality and high-purity magnesium. The products comply with ASTM97-98, GB/T 17731-2008 (magnesium alloy sacrificial anode), SY/T0019-97 (design code for sacrificial anode protection for buried steel pipelines) standards. It is extruded by a specific process, the anode has excellent electrochemical performance, the shape of the ribbon anode is flat, the length can be adjusted, and it is easy to bend.

The extruded magnesium strip anode has a larger area-to-mass ratio, so it can generate more current than the usual cast anode. These characteristics can make it have a unique application in anode protection engineering, especially in long-distance pipelines, crossing pipelines, large storage pipelines, crossing pipe sections, large storage tank bottoms, lightning protection grounding grids and short-term anode in composite anodes etc.

Magnesium tape is mainly used to coil the protected body to protect oil tanks or other steel structures in high-resistivity electrolytes, or surfaces with narrow

construction spaces, and high-resistivity soils, fresh water etc media.
